Terms & Conditions & Cancellation Policy

BOOKINGS
All bookings enquiry’s are subject to approval and require a holding deposit of 50% or 1st week of your accommodation plus a $40.00 booking fee upon approval, within 10 days of booking. The outstanding balance is payable via either direct deposit or credit card.

BALANCE IS TO BE PAID IN FULL 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE A CASHLESS OFFICE DEPOSIT Forward deposits are accepted on behalf of the present owner. We will not accept responsibility for action taken by landlords or new owners, which are outside of our control.

SECURITY BOND
Note: A $300 Bond will be held via credit/debit card on arrival for up to 3 days post departure and is applicable on all properties.

CANCELLATIONS
Deposits on cancelled bookings are only refundable when the premises are re-let for the full term. PART CANCELLATIONS OF SCHOOL HOLIDAYS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Advice of cancellations must be in writing and are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.

KEYS
Must be collected from our office during office hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm (Closed Sunday). Check in at 1.00pm and Check out at 8.00am Saturdays (10am check out other days). Failure to do so may result in extra charges being levied. If you intend arriving out of office hours, please notify the office in advance. Note: Canada Bay tenants only – at the request of the club, your check out time will be 10am and check in time is 3pm. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL KEYS BE LEFT WITHOUT ANY PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS AND BALANCE PAID.

SHOULD OUR OFFICE BE CLOSED, KEYS CAN BE COLLECTED FROM 11.00AM AT DOMINOS PIZZAS (behind LJ Hooker’s office in car park). Tenants are responsible for the safekeeping of keys. If you accidently lock yourself out after hours you will have to call ForsterTuncurry Locksmith on emergency no: 0438 548 857 to obtain access. The locksmith will require Payment of the fee at the time of serviceand proof of tenancy, ie. Current receipt. (if this service doesn’t answer you will need to find alternate accommodation at your own expense). KEYS TO BE RETURNED TO OFFICE, DAY OF DEPARTURE AND PLACED THROUGH KEY HOLE.

CLEANING
As you are not charged a cleaning fee, you are required to please leave the premises neat and tidy. If excess cleaningis required, the cost will be charged against your security bond. (this includes BBQ’s) Please ensure rubbish is placed in appropriate bins and lids are closed. If any excess garbage is left on or near premises and in particular excess rubbish that results in generating larvae or attracting vermin, the holiday property officer will organise for our contractor to collect and dispose at the guest’s expense. If you are a guest at the time, it is your responsibility to ensure the bins are available for council collection on the allocated day

BREAKAGES & DAMAGE
As the tenant, you are responsible for all damages, breakages and loss incurred during the term of your occupancy and all matters MUST be reported. I authorise the management to deduct monies from the Bond or Credit Card(s) supplied should damages to the property occur or any breaches of the conditions arise during the period of occupancy.

EXTRAS
Should you require cot, pram, fold up beds etc, please contact A & J Kleensweep on (02) 6557 2535 to order these items at an additional charge. Linen is also available from Kleensweep (as no linen is supplied).

PETS
Under local health regulations, no pets are allowed into rental accommodation with the exception of Pet Friendly Properties.

ACCESS
You may be required to allow access for service personnel should repairs be necessary. In the event that the property is offered for sale, inspections with prospective purchases may be necessary by appointment during reasonable hours.

REBOOKING
If you wish to rebook, please do so by the FIRST WEDNESDAY OF YOUR STAY. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS To not breach Health Departments regulations for more people to occupy a property that exceeds number of beds. Each page in our guide lets you know the maximum number of guests permitted in each property.

BEHAVIOUR
– Guest and invitees are expected to behave in a manner which is conductive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the property and surrounding properties
– Agree to abide by safety signs, warning signs, pool safety signs and agent directives at the property being rented. NO SMOKING INSIDE PREMISES, BALCONIES OR COMMON GROUNDS.

Please note at the time of publication all advertised inclusions in our properties are up to date. We are not responsible for any changes, which occur thereafter. We are not responsible for any unforeseen breakdown of appliances etc. No discount will be negotiated. In the event of renovation/building work being carried out in or near the premises, such work is beyond our control and we cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance, noise or inconvenience you may suffer as a result. No discount will be negotiated for any of the above. Failure to comply with all these terms and conditions may render the agent to take further action by way of refusing key, amending the rent or immediately terminating the tenancy.
